Biochemistry lab

Biochemistry/Phytochemistry Laboratory is part of Forest Ecology and Biodiversity Conservation Division. Major activities in the lab include phytochemical studies on medicinal plants, in-virto mechanistic studies of plant metabolites and biochemical studies on impact of pesticides in terrestrial environment.

The lab is equipped with Fluorescent Microscope, Spectrophotometer, Gel electrophoresis system and documentation system, Rotary Evaporator, Laminar air flow, Fume hood, -20 Deep freezer and Circulating Water bath among others.
