Part of the information generated by KFRI staff them appears in the form of about 400 Research Reports, 75 Doctoral Dissertations, 75 Books, 30 Information Bulletins, 10 Softwares/CDs and 1400 Papers in scientific journals. Besides this there are monographs, handbooks, workshop and seminar proceedings, field guides, bibliographic compilations and digital database in specialised areas such as pests and diseases, teak, bamboo and rattan, identification keys in print form as well as in the form of interactive multimedia CD-ROMs, educational videos to facilitate outreach programmes etc. Institute functions as network hub of a couple of international institutional networks funded by FAO.
