Dr. Murali, R., Plant Pathology professional, holds eight years of experience in teaching, research and extension, handling research projects and crop development activities. Handling the courses like fundamentals of Plant Pathology, Diseases of field and horticultural crops and management, principles of plant disease management, Integrated disease management for UG students. His Ph.D. work secured university gold medal recognition in 2017. During Ph.D, he awarded UGC-Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship Junior Research Fellowship from New Delhi. He is life time member of Trends in Biosciences Journal and Institution of agriculture technologies, Bangalore.

- Handled many under graduate and post graduate courses of Plant Pathology.
- Served as Co-PI for the research Project “Evaluation of Trichoderma viride 1.0% W.P against Red rot disease (Colletothrichum fulcatum Went/ Glomerella tucumanensis) in Sugarcane” funded by IPL Biologicals Ltd, Gurugram, Haryana.

- During Ph.D., awarded UGC-Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship, Junior Research Fellowship from New Delhi in 2014-15.
- Scientist Associate award – Astha Foundation Jaipur, Rajastan in October - 2018 for outstanding contribution in the field of Plant Pathology.
- Actively participated as resource person in many training programmes organized by Forest department, Agriculture department, societies and NGO’s.
