Dr. Madiga Bheemalingappa obtained his Ph.D. in Botany from Sri Krishnadeveraya University, Andhra Pradesh on the topic Diversity, Quantitative Assessment and Conservation of Trees of Baratang Island Andaman Islands India. He has published one Book and 14 papers in various reputed journals in National and International level. He has nine years of teaching and 11 years of research experience in Floristic and Biodiversity Conservation studies and explored most parts in Andhra Pradesh and Andaman Islands of India. The main theme of his research is Documentation of plant species and their conservation.

Focused areas: Plant Taxonomy, Plant Ecology & Phytosociology and Biodiversity Conservation & Management.

Total number of publications: Published one Book and 14 papers in various reputed journals in National and International level.
