Shweta B. Kukreti did M.Sc & PhD in Wood Science & Technology from Forest Research Institute University, Dehradun and has research experience in wood physics, wood preservation, wood adhesive and wood composites. She is also equipped with the knowledge of bamboo processing technologies such as seasoning, preservation, finishing and bamboo composite boards. Low cost bio material like bamboo, cane, rattan etc. for composite board, the recycling of wood products and value addition technologies are areas of research interest.

Focused areas: Preservative & fire retardant treatment, Value addition technologies of Wood/bamboo, Composite boards.
