LAN

KFRI has a centralised server running under Linux (Debian-5). About 200 PCs are connected to the LAN. The main functions of the LAN are providing mail, internet, fast file sharing, data archiving and centralised and fast printing facilities. Broadband Internet connection is provided by NKN (100 mbps).
