Dr. K.F. George awarded Ph.D in Library and Information Science from Karpagam University, Coimbatore. He took M. Sc. Statistics from Calicut Univeristy.He obtained Bachelor's (BLISc) and Master's (MLIS) degrees in Library and Information Science from Calicut University and Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. He started his carrear as Librarian in Government College Thrissur. He has developed annotated bibliography on rattan. He already developed information system on selected medicinal plants of Kerala. He is a life member professional associations-IASLIC, LA, KLA and ALA.
