Abstract
Phytosociological studies are reported based on visits to 200 localities, and quadrat analyses of vegetation data from 165 selected localities; indexes of successional status (maturity indexes) are included. Species are categorized into different groups based on the (positive) associations in which they are found. Such groupings could be used for the selection of species for plantation trials. A vegetation map at the scale of 1:50 000 is appended
