Abstract

Occurence of mono-and polyembryonic albino seedlings of Artocarpus hirsuta is reported for the first time. Of the 75 seeds sown in laboratory, 53 germinated. Five of them developed into albino seedlings. All the albino seedlings died within fifteen days of planting out to containers
