Abstract

While studying the herbarium materials of the genus Dalbergia L. f. from Kerala state represented in Madras Herbarium (MH), Coimbatore and herbarium of the University College, Trivandrum, few specimens belonging to the species D. acacifolia Dalz. and D. pseudo-sissoo miq. were located. In literature these two species are not so far recorded from Kerala. Descriptions and illustrations of the two taxa are provided in the paper to facilitate their future collection and identification
