Abstract

During the studies of the epiphytic flora of the Western Ghats especially in the Silent Valley National Park the authors could collect 20 lichens which are reported in this paper. The species marked with single asterisk(*) indicates new record to the state and double asterisk(**) indicates new record to South India. Brief description, localities and chemical reactions have also been given
