A new foliage disease of T. paniculata caused by C. quinqueseptatum [Calonectria quinqueseptata] is reported from Kerala during the peak period of monsoon in July. Shot-holes formed due to falling off of the chlorotic areas. Pathogenicity of the isolate was confirmed on inoculation
