Abstract

Beauveria bassiana is reported as a new pathogen of Atteva fabriciella in Kerala, India. Pathogenicity tests indicated that the pathogen was virulent by spraying or leaf application, but was most effective when sprayed with a LC50 = 3. 1 X 103 spores/ml. In comparative efficacy tests using Paecilomyces farinosus isolated from Eligma narcissus, P. farinosus was cross infective but B. bassiana was more virulent giving promising results by spraying
