Abstract

The floral anatomy of Apostasia odorata Bl. is described. The anterior and the posterio-lateral sepal bundles give off two branches to form nine bundles in the centre which later are re-oriented in the ovary wall as the three carpellary dorsals and ventrals, respectively. The taxonomic status of the Apostasioides is discussed
