Abstract

During the floristic studies on the forests of Trichur, several rare and endemic plants were collected. In this paper ten rare and endemic tree species found in the forests of Trichur are discussed with brief notes on their habitat, distribution and occurrence. The conservation strategies to be adopted are also discussed
