Dr. PS Easa

Dr. P.S. Easa, is with Department of Wildlife. He has extensive experience in areas of wildlife biology, conservation biology and conservation of asian elaphant, human wildlife conflict etc and has publisehd extensively in these areas. He has edited an illustrated series on the biodiversity of Kerala featuring various taxa of biological spectrum in the region. He is active in the field of environmental education and policy making and is member of decision making bodies including Asian Elephant Specialist Group, IUCN/SSC; Project Elephant Steering Committee, Member, State Wildlife Advisory Board, Govt. of Chattisgarh, Elephant Task Force, Ministry of Environment and Forests, Govt. of India, Approval Committee of Tiger Conservation Plan for Tiger Reserves in South India, Ministry of Environment and Forests, Govt. of India, Member, Committee for studying the Human wildlife conflict related issues in Kerala, Govt. of Kerala etc.
